Abundant Life Class--- 1st Base/BELONG (level 101)
For those interested in membership and for those who are already members but need a boost in their faith. This class focuses on what it means to be a Christian and what the Bible means for our lives today. At present we offer this class two times a year. The next one will be starting soon so please sign up for it in the Member Resource Guide at the Life Discovery Center. Check current listing for time and day for this class or call the office for updates.
Sunday Morning Options---
Along with Children and Youth education we offer classes on Sunday mornings between the church services. Pick from classes the use videos, discussion guides, or the Bible. These classes start at 9:30AM and end at the same time the Children and Youth are finished, at 10:30AM. Watch for new classes with new topics which are starting all the time!
Youth
Youth Bible Study---
On Sunday mornings at 9:15AM-10:30AM the Youth gather for Bible study and fellowship. Meet some new friends in the youth room in the South Building.
Sunday School---
Bring your 2 year olds up through 8th grade children to a great place to learn about God. This time gives children the chance to learn more about God and His Love through lessons, crafts, and the love received from out teachers. We have many classes and great teachers here at St. Martin. Class starts at 9:15AM- 10:30AM on Sunday mornings in the South Building.
CrossWalk---
This Christian education program is offered to children ages 2 years through 6th grade. Classes meet every Wednesday night from 5:45PM-7:15PM in the Education Wing. Runs September through April. Gives Children the opportunity to grow in Christ in a group setting during the week as well as on Sundays! They receive the Word of God through lessons, games, arts, and music. Dinner is served each week. In the fall we have a Halloween substitute we call Harvest Fest.
Confirmation---
To enable the youth to examine themselves, we have the rite of confirmation.
We begin with youth in the 7th and 8th grade who attend Confirmation Class
during the Sunday School time. Pastor and lay teachers work toward connecting
our youth with the mission of the church. Confirmation is a rite of professing
our faith with a public confession of Christ; a public renewal of our Baptismal
covenant; and being received into communicant membership in the church. It
is a time for youth to confirm our Lord’s working in their life as
we grow together in the knowledge of His Word and will for our lives. We
meet on Sunday Mornings from 9:15AM- 10:30AM September-April
Vacation Bible School---
We plan for children 2 years through 6th grade. This wonderful week for the children and the families of our communities is exciting and engergized for youth! Please contact the Church Office and watch for announcements when this will be each summer! Children learn about God through lessons, activities, games, fun, and crafts.
